I am a mother of four children and grandmother to two grandchildren. After many years of being an at-home mum and working in childcare, it was time for a change. I have always enjoyed crafting, sewing, woodworking, but especially knitting.   Through that, Darn-Knit NZ was born. I love playing with different colours and techniques, and anyone who has been to my home will agree that I am always trying to come up with new ideas.  If I'm not in the dye pots, I am in the shed with wood, hammer and nails, but most importantly duct tape, putting together another wacky invention.
